Meeting ‘our’ boyfriend

While I was out of town, seems like Jacob (my beau) went out and got himself a boyfriend. Happy as I am, I was very suspicious of this new guy on the block. As much as I know Jacob is capable of picking for himself, my “mother hen” persona won’t let it be.

So earlier this week, I sent a letter to Fynn (my beau’s beau) and Jacob too. It was an invitation to come visit for lunch.

After a few changes in date, we finally sat down together today in our garden. Fynn was gracious enough to bring two bottles of wine from his cellar. Sadly, the white wine broke, but the red was a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. It was very rich and smooth. Perfect on the palette. We each had a glass as we talked. I enjoyed it but not nearly as much as I enjoyed our chat.

I learned a little bit about Fynn, and also my beau in fact. They seem to really like each other…in fact, love each other *giggling* I can’t help but feel excited. So much so that I may have hinted, excessively, about them starting a family. It would be nice to have a little Jedda running around to spoil. Proving my case is going to be hard though! That Jacob of mine is one stubborn bull.

Before they left, Fynn handed me a present. It was a seed. Taelor and I love flowers, so I was really excited to be given such a wonderful gift.

They had invited me to tag along with them to one of Fynn’s siblings DJing gigs. I accepted but let them head on before me, so that I could quickly plant the seed. Once I was done, I caught a taxi to the club.

It was super fun. We danced and had icecream. Soon Terr and Red turned up. Along with Ara, Fynn’s sister. We didn’t get to talk much, but it was really nice meeting her.

All in all, it was such a lovely evening! I look forward to getting to know more about Fynn. The 21 questions are not yet answered. 😛
