The Break In

Today was awful! Well, it began that way.

I had woken up, and stepped out of the house ((aka ‘was offline’)) when an intruder broke into the house while Taelor was alone! He said a lot of rude things and scared him terribly! He wasn’t even out of his nighty gown! He had only just woken up! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

By the time I got back home, he was gone. Our security company turned up to chase him away. Nevertheless, it was too late. He had already hurt my child’s feelings!!!!! ARRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Suffice it to say, when I got home I was not just livid and tearful. I hate feeling so helpless when it comes to protecting my son. It really hurt! He was terrified and shaken! Everything in me wanted to rip the guy who broke in to shreds! I was just so angry, and called everyone….the police, the neighborhood watch and made several reports! SEVERAL!

My sister, River, rushed over too. She was just as angry, but more worried about her nephew. She stayed long after the police collected their reports ((and gave us advice on how to get Linden Lab’s attention)).

Things had calmed down a bit, so I sent Taelor to go wash up and get changed out of his nightie. He came back in a beautiful yellow checker patterned dress. His Aunty and I were completely flawed, and asked him to model for us.

He did the cat walk and we cheered loudly, before couching together to take a selfie.

Not long after, we heard a knock on the door and it was Mika. She had broken her arm, but managed to make her way over to check on Taelor.

She brought a present along with her to cheer him up. It was the cutest little stuffed mouse wearing a patterned yellow and white dress too.

After Mika left, we went to his Aunty River’s house to help her put her mailbox up.

Once that was done, we went home to get ready for bed time. However, just before we shut the doors, Ema turns up to also check on her nephew. She came on a cute Panda, and Taelor got to pet and ride on him for a bit.

Both Aunties said their goodnights now. It was his bed time, and I really wanted to take some time tucking him into bed after the overwhelming day.

After bed time prayers, I snuggled him a lot and tucked him to bed. He was so much calmer – happy, even. It wasn’t long before he drifted off to sleep.

No more baddies!
